North Table Mountain Ecological Preserve is near Oroville in northern California. It’s known for the wildflower blooms in the spring.
It was tough finding a good day to go because it’s been very rainy in northern California. It finally cleared this past Saturday.
The wildflowers were blooming, but they were not as large as I remembered from last year. I think there is more growth on the way before they fade.
I had a particular photo in mind. It was one of looking upwards at a California poppy with other poppies in the background. See the shot below along with others taken along the way.
